The French Café, custom wallpapers

We created two bespoke wallpapers for the interior of this award-winning Auckland restaurant.

Created from layers of hand painted watercolours; herbs, edible flowers and beneficial plants 'dance' and float across the restaurant walls, suggesting movement from outside to in, from garden to the plate, reflecting the new addition of a kitchen garden.

The wallpaper designs were also used across the slipcase and cover of Saison, the second cookbook from The French Cafe.
