We hope that our work is both of, and for our environment.
Our aim is to create lasting designs, that are beautiful to live and work with.
Our ways of reducing our environmental impact are constantly evolving. Some of the initiatives we have in place are:
We source paper from FSC® or PEFC™ certified forests and use recycled content wherever possible.
We use water based inks with no VOC (volatile organic compounds) which are safe to use in interior environments.
Local to you
Our design studio is based in Auckland, New Zealand. Our manufacturing occurs in different locations across the globe so we can stay close to our customer bases and reduce our environmental impact through product miles travelled.
We ship via sea freight where possible, and we offset any carbon emissions incurred through our air freight.
Commercial grade wallcoverings
Our commercial grade papers include substrates that are PVC-free and made from recycled plastic bottles earning LEED credits.
We prefer recyclable or compostable packaging. Our products are shipped in card or compostable packaging. Often packaging, including plastics and bubble wrap that comes into our business from other suppliers is re-used to ensure it is not single-use. We encourage you to recycle our packaging as well.
Made to order
Many of our designs are made to order reducing manufacturing excess
Our studio is powered by renewable resources – wind, rain and sun.
For sample cuttings provided to our customers, we encourage you to return them to us or your local rep for reuse when your time with them is done.
Our continuing quest is to move away from synthetics and to maximise the use of sustainably sourced natural fibres in our products
We are working to measure, manage and mitigate our carbon footprint
